Row Row Row Your Boat

Join these fun, felt beavers as they take a trip gently down the stream!

Row, Row, Row Your Boat is an old, traditional song first published in 1852. The original lyrics are very short, so over the years extra animals and lines have been added, often the polar bear and crocodile are included but for this version we have added even more animals so children can sing along for much longer!

Lyrics:

Row, row, row your boat Gently down the stream

Merrily, merrily, merrily, merrily Life is but a dream

Row, row, row your boat Gently down the stream If you see a crocodile

Don’t forget to scream Ah!

Row, row, row your boat gently to the shore

If you see a lion don’t forget to roar Roar!

Row, row, row your boat gently down the river

If you see a polar bear don’t forget to shiver Brr!

Row, row, row your boat splashy, splashy, splish

Merrily, merrily, merrily, merrily

Here comes a jumping fish Splash!

Row, row, row your boat Gently down the creek

If you see a little mouse Don’t forget to squeak Squeak!

Row, row, row your boat don’t put up the sail

If you see a water spout It’s a great big whale Ah, oh!

Row, row, row your boat gently as you wish

Merrily, merrily, merrily, merrily

Here comes a jellyfish Wobble, wobble, wobble!

Row, row, row your boat On an even keel

Merrily, merrily, merrily, merrily

Watch out! Electric eel Zap!

Row, row, row your boat gently in the dark

Merrily, merrily, merrily, merrily

Here comes a hungry shark Chomp!

Row, row, row your boat If you have some luck

Merrily, merrily, merrily, merrily

You’ll see a quacking duck Quack!

Row, row, row your boat gently to the shore

If you see a dinosaur Don’t forget to roar Roar!

Row, row, row your boat gently down the Nile

Merrily, merrily, merrily, merrily

Here comes a crocodile Snap!
